Looking for presents?

Hi all!
Just a quicky to show you what my friend Michelle has been up to. She gave up her library job recently to start up on her own making glass bowls and other glass things. She's just put her stuff on an American website for sale - I bought a lovely bowl. Here's the site:

Obviously she needs a few sales to get going, so if there are any birthdays of events worth celebrating with a lovely present coming up, take a look.

We'd like to invite you to a Love's Bridge evening at Pushkin House (5a Bloomsbury Square), London on Tuesday 2nd December at 7.30pm.

Pushkin House is a place for Russian cultural gatherings, discussions, events and is generally for supporting all things Russian. They have very kindly donated us the space to show a short film and preview to a possible future documentary about our project. We will also have the chance to tell people about the problems we are dealing with with the kids of Perm and how we are going about it. It will be very informal and informative, very free-of-charge and a chance to find out more about social issues in Russia. If you know anyone that might be interested in this, please feel free to invite, and we'd be particularly happy to see Russians based in London...

So please spread the word, and if you are free on Tuesday then please come along - your presence and support will be much appreciated!

Here is the link to the event if you would like to read more:

Welcome!

Dear friends and relations,

This is our new point of contact for all the former students who still remember and want to have anything to do with their alma mater.

Please spread the word and get in touch if you want to contribute to the blog itself. Our intention is to rekindle old friendships as well as to establish some new ones.

Hopefully this will become a portal for contacts, answers to queries and much more between students past and present.

Over to you now, feel free to comment below
